A demolition and new build project in the heart of the National Park, Morawel has been constructed in a lightweight, highly insulated timber frame and consists of two ground floor one bedroom flats, with a two bedroom flat at first floor.
The design ethos behind this replacement dwelling had to be consistent with the local vernacular, however the introduction of the larch cladding to the front of the building allowed us to bring something ‘new’ to the street scene and hopefully add a little colour and interest?
