Late in 2019 RLH were approached by Morgan Homes to assist them with an ambitious project to provide a site of 100+ houses on a gently sloping site in the beautiful town of Ystradgynlais on the River Tawe in southwest Powys. Establishing itself as the second-largest town in the principal area and county of Powys and with great transport links out to the M4, Swansea and beyond, demand is high for quality homes in this beautiful area.
Morgan Homes provide some of the finest low energy, new build homes in South West Wales, hence the brief was a simple one, to provide a scheme of predominately private homes that would fit seamlessly into this stunning location perched on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Our task was to create a well laid out and open site, working with the contours of the land and linking it to the village to encourage active travel whilst creating a sense of place and community. The Team at Morgan Homes anticipate commencing construction in early 2022
